We Published our 2019 Sustainability Report

Date: 15 December 2020

We share our activities and goals with this report in which we included our solutions and improvement projects that will prevent the problems at its source by examining the problems encountered in sustainability.

We have set our goals to shape a sustainable future, which cover environmental subjects such as the elimination of harmful chemicals, R & D studies of safer alternatives, protection of limited natural resources during the production and use phase, also in social areas such as occupational health and safety, improvement of the working environment in line with the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. We defined our GRI sustainability priorities and created an action plan to implement them in every process of the value chain.

United Nations (UN) Global Compact is the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative with over 9,500 companies and over 3,000 external members in more than 160 countries. The UN Global Compact, started its work in 2000, encourages organizations to act in cooperation to create a sustainable and inclusive global economy that benefits our world, all people, communities and markets.

UN Global Compact supports companies around the world to align their strategies and operations with the 10 Principles in the fields of human rights, labor standards, environment and anti-corruption, also leading the business world in order them to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

In September 2015, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) as a road map completed in 2030 with the aim of eliminating poverty, protecting the world, and to combat inequality and injustice. Although the SDGs created for countries with different levels of development are designed as viable goals for governments, the business world plays a key role in each of these goals success through responsible business practices, new ways of doing business, investment, innovation, technology and collaboration. The SDGs cover a wide extend falling within the scope of business world, from poverty and inequality to climate change. Interacting with the SDG agenda, the business world is able to comprehend global priorities and associate their strategies with global priorities.

The 10 Principles of the UN Global Compact address the fundamental responsibilities of the business world in the fields of human rights, labor standards, environment and anti-corruption;
